In June of 2001 I left to begin boot camp in Chicago IL. After boot camp I commenced training as a Nuclear Operator in Charleston, SC. After graduation I reported to my first of three submarines that I served on, the USS Rhode Island, USS Houston and USS Pittsburgh. Additionally I served as a ROTC mentor at Texas A&M and 2 tours of ins

After graduation I reported to my first of three submarines that I served on, the USS Rhode Island, USS Houston and USS Pittsburgh. Additionally I served as a ROTC mentor at Texas A&M and 2 tours of instructor duty in Ballston Spa, NY. I retired after 21 years of active duty in November of 2022. I am happily married to my high school sweetheart and have 2 beautiful daughters.

When I'm not at work, I enjoy working on our 36 acre hobby farm taking care of 6 horses, 15 chickens, 2 dogs and 2 cats. I also enjoy camping, hiking, exploring the mountains and cooking s'mores around a camp fire with my girls.
